The University of Montevallo welcomes applications from passionate and committed students who are interested in pursuing a quality education. The Office of Admissions reviews all undergraduate applications using a rolling decision format, with students receiving notice of the decision soon after the file is complete.
Ready to fill out an application? Below are a few things to get you started.
Application Fee
To apply for admission, you will need to pay a $30 non-refundable application fee. You may pay with a credit card while completing the online application, or checks can be made payable to “University of Montevallo” and mailed to the Office of Admissions at the address to the right.
Official High School Transcript
An official copy of your high school transcript must be submitted by your guidance counselor to complete your application. All transcripts may be mailed to the Office of Admissions at the address to the right.
Standardized Test Scores
Your official ACT or SAT scores must be sent to the Office of Admissions to complete your application. These scores can be listed on your official high school transcript or sent through the testing provider.
Know Your Deadlines
Fall Term Incoming freshmen wishing to have their application considered for merit based scholarships should apply prior to February 1. The general admission deadline is August 15. Spring Term The deadline for students wishing to enroll in the spring term is December 1. Summer Term The deadline for students wishing to enroll in the summer term is May 1.
